That's not relevant in chapter 6. After you've entered chroot the only
part of the host system that you're using is the kernel.

Clearly there is a problem with /bin/sh. Does it exist? Is it a
symbolic link pointing at /tools/bin/sh? You could have checked this
out before you sent your email to the list and avoided us having to ask
