LFS 6.3, Autoconf-2.61 compilation error

Hi,

I've successfully assembled LFS 6.1 some time ago and am now working
through LFS 6.3. Host System: LFS LiveCD Version x86-6.3-r2145 on i586
Hardware. I'm using the "Package User" Package Management Method from
the LFS Hints. I didn't (intentionally) deviate from the instructions of
the LFS Book, but rather worked through it with great care.

In Chapter 6.26, 'make' of Autoconf-2.61 stops with the following error:

Can't locate Errno.pm in @INC (@INC contains: ../lib

This I do not understand since Perl-5.8.8 (from Chapter 6.23)
successfully installed the file Errno.pm in
$LFS/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i586-linux/Errno.pm. I didn't use Perl's
interactive Configure script -- I strictly typed the instructions
according to the book. My PATH Environment is
'/usr/lib/pkgusr:/bin:/usr/bin:/tools/bin'.

I've searched through the lfs-support archives. Just one person had the
same problem, but it apparently had to do with Perl's interactive
Configure script.

Hints are greatly appreciated!
