I've been offline for the last couple of days, but I would like to revive this thread to see if anyone has had a chance to noodle this one.  Again, from the preceding messages in the thread, one can read what has occurred and the attempts to isolate the cause... essentially during through gcc-pass2, even though the patch is successfully applied, and the end build test is positive, the gcc specs but NOT drop /usr/include.  This will then effect the build of ncurses, failing on the GPM dependency.  This using LiveCD 6.3 r2032 & r2052.

If the consensus of group feels that it should be re-directed to livecd list, I will do so...
