No, not 4 June.  This is the date that you copied.  Unpack any
tar ball and look at the dates of the files inside.  Makefile
will be younger than  Makefile.in, but both are much older
than 4 June

When you copied the files you should have done cp  -p
retain the original file dates,  also when you copy from
CD to hard disk
