Iirc, Armin, Pierre, Fernando(?), &c had a discussion in the lists
a year or two back, about their methods used; web-search for it,
should get you there ok.


You could use git's import-subversion tools: or just mirror locally the
subversion repos, auto-generate the relevant diffs/&c, and auto-import
them in git.
