[lfs-dev] log daemon fails

Not sure this is the best list to post to for this, but you all have been
very helpful in the past, so here goes ...

I just built LFS 7.8 using the latest Linux 4.2 revision (.8). I started
with defconfig and adjusted the settings for my platform, but I'm wondering
if I missed something because I get these two errors at the end of the boot
process:

Starting system log daemon...FAIL
Starting system log daemon... FAIL

I verified that sysklog installed correctly. Could there be a setting in
the kernel that I missed?

Any help would be appreciated.
