Kernel documentation links

Archaic archaic at linuxfromscratch.org

Does anyone know of a link to a site that lays out all (or a least a
lot) of the kernel options, what they do, when they are needed, and what
the ramifications of those options are? Sure there is
linux/Documentation/*, but that is a hodge podge of sometimes useless,
often times outdated, and too often minimally informative stuff.

I'd like to find a link to put in the book, but so far have come up
with nothing fitting the bill.
