I have been using your method and found it to work perfectly. I have only one
problem with it: Iptables. It refuses to compile under linux-2.6 because the
headers doesnt match. It specifically NEEDS the 2.6 headers to work. :-(
So now theres some apps that wants 2.6 headers (iptables, glibc) and some that
needs 2.4 headers (dosfstools, strace, net-tools). So which programs do i
like the best? iptables or dosfstools and strace... hmm...
This is going nowhere fast i think. Has anyone gotten iptables (cvs or not) to
work with the RH headers, or even better, has anyone gotten dosfstools,
strace or net-tools to work with the 2.6 headers? (Yes i know, i can build
net-tools by disabeling a bunch of features)
