This is a good idea: to swap chapters 3 and 4.

Problably most people will burn the source packages onto a CD as 
soon as they have downloaded them, so it doesn't matter where they 
are temporarily stored.  But not everyone does this, and for these 
users the most sensible order is to first make the partition, and 
then download the packages.  It requires less space on the host 
system, and avoids a copy operation.
