about mtab symlink

this is a small customization but i think it is important
the link mtab to proc/mounts should be deleted since LFS install is
finished.
the links create a loss of information that should be in mtab, like the user
who mounted a device
with the symlinks :
a line like this in fstab
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,user,ro 0 0

allow any user to mount but not to umount, although the "user" setting aimed
to allow the user to mount to umount. this is due to the dataloss in
replacing mtab by symlink.

without the symlink, mtab contains the user name of whom mounted the device
and now "user" setting allow this user to umount the device.

so.just su and remove mtab, reboot, and mtab will be .

hope this will help.
