Okay - my fault...
sh-2.04$ ls -l /boot/
total 1604
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 149863 Jul 18 15:34 System.map
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 145331 Jul 18 15:24 System.old
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 512 Jun 30 16:36 boot.0300
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4572 Jun 30 11:11 boot.b
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 612 Jun 30 11:11 chain.b
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 431340 Jul 19 09:42 lfskernel
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This is the Kernel that is booted for my LFS...
And guess what

-rw------- 1 root root 13824 Jul 19 09:42 map
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 640 Jun 30 11:11 os2_d.b
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 431340 Jul 18 15:34 vmlinuz
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This is the kernel that was replaced after make bzImage (bzlilo,
whatever)

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 414374 Jul 18 15:24 vmlinuz.old

Damn. I'll just stopped hitting my head against the table.

Now everything works as expected.
