Glibc (another problem)

I am having problems installing Glibc. no mater what I try I get the following:

Reading makefile `../o-iterator.mk' (search path) (no ~ expansion)...

../Makerules:622: *** multiple target patterns.  Stop.

Can anyone help? I am beginning to wonder if I made a mistake on an earlier package, but which one?
