console-tools-patch doesn't work

A patch to console-tools was sent to lfs-config a while ago that is
supposed to fix the error you get at the end about the missing sgml2txt
or sgml2html or whatever it was.

I've applied the patch but it doesn't seem to work:

Unpacked console-tools-0.2.3
cd into it
gzip -cd ../console-tools-0.2.3.patch.gz | patch -Np1

Patch doesn't complain, so the patch seems to be applied properly.
Running ./configure seems ok too.

root:/usr/src/builds/console-tools-0.2.3# make
cd . && aclocal
aclocal: configure.in: 0: macro `AM_PATH_PROG_WITH_TEST' not found in
library

make: *** [aclocal.m4] Error 1

Needless to say this doesn't happen when the patch isn't applied. I
forgot who created the patch, but can you look into it?
