building glibc

hey all

i'm not sure if this problem has been encountered before, but whenever i
try to build
glibc (using LFS 2.3.5b) configure spits out an error saying my kernel
header files are too old.
however, i'm using the kernel header files from 2.2.16. since i'm a
slackware 7.1 box that also
uses a 2.2.16 kernel, i've done configure without the
'--with-headers=$LFS/usr/include' option
and the configure worked. however when i try to do 'make' it spits out
the following error:

...(working part)
make -C linuxthreads_db subdir_lib
make: Entering an unknown directory
make: *** linuxthreads_db: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: Leaving an unknown directory
make[1]: *** [linuxthreads_db/subdir_lib] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/lfs/usr/src/glibc-2.1.3'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Prior to those lines, everything was making just fine. Any thoughts
anyone? Thanks

Zach Hartley
