I had the same problem mentioned earlier with compiling Bash.  (Not finding
- -ltermcap)

It was mentioned to configure it with --with-curses/--with-ncurses.  This
didn't work for me.

What did work for me though, is linking libcurses.a to libncurses.a.  Happy
compiling!
