make menuconfig fails

I was just trying to rebuild the kernel on the LFS systems, and I was reminded
about the problem I had had earlier. The make menuconfig script hangs after
a certain point and won't continue. Here is the text leading up to the hang:

sh-2.03# make menuconfig
rm -f include/asm
( cd include ; ln -sf asm-i386 asm)
make -C scripts/lxdialog all
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.2.14/scripts/lxdialog'
find: /usr/local/lib/: No such file or directory
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.2.14/scripts/lxdialog'
/bin/sh scripts/Menuconfig arch/i386/config.in
Using defaults found in .config
Preparing scripts: functions, parsing......................................done.

(cd is /usr/src/linux)

Anyone had this problem? Know how to solve it?

				Thanks,
					Erik
