A silly question about Quake

The Quake3 executable (the 1.32b client you download from id's ftp
site) is free. You need the original CD because the game content
(basically the huge baseq3/pak0.pk3 file) isn't free, and the only
place you'll find it is in an original Q3 CD.

So, once you get that file, install the client, and put the file in
your baseq3 dir.
