Be VERY careful making statements like that. those old PCs may not need
CPU fans, but their PSU may very well REQUIRE a fan.

Telling someone to 'plug off' the PSU fan is dangerous. there are
(potentially) high voltages that CAN kill in a PSU, and often the FAN is
soldered to the PCB. beside that, disconnecting it could result in the
PSU catching fire (Although it shouldnt, but still).

You would almost CERTAINLY shorten the life of the PSU.
