But 4.2.99.{3,4} were development releases and no cvs snapshots. So they 
should at least compile but may contain bugs that MAY occur but NEED NOT to. 
(cvs snapshots with unconditioned bugs would not become releases)
Strange, that they removed the 4.2.99.4 release. Probably they introduced a 
critical bug whose easiest fixing was this backport.
