 Agreed.  It would be useful if raj_ashish could provide feedback on
 whether the above solution of setting CFLAGS works and whether the rest of
 the LFS build completes after that.  Then, we can see about incorporating
 this in the book, or have someone write a hint - whichever is more
 appropriate given the amount of deviation from the current instructions.
 I'll therefore move this to "Future" but keep it open so that more info
 can be gathered.
