 As brought up in this [http://linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/lfs-
 dev/2006-February/055761.html thread] on lfs-dev the other day, parts of
 Perl specifically look in /usr/include during compilation.  In order to
 change the default include dir for perl to something different, you can
 add the variable usrinc to hints/linux.sh.

 I'm attaching an updated version of the perl-5.8.7-libc-1.patch.
