I'm confused what I need to do to get my Canon Rebel XSI camera to be
recognized. I'm expecting to get a /dev/sd* node, but I don't. I
have Device Drivers/USB Support/USB Mass Storage support compiled into
the kernel, along with SCSI disk support. Here's what I get from
dmesg when I plug in the device:

[ 2.990336] Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
[ 2.990502] usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage
[ 2.990590] USB Mass Storage support registered.

But

sda sda1 sda2 sda3 sda4 sda5 sda6 sda7 sdb sdb1 sdc sdc1
Which are my standard 3 hard drives.

Do I need a specific driver for my camera? I thought the mass storage
device would do it.

Thanks,
Chris
