startx problem with more_control_and_pkg_man

I am sure it is a permission issue I missed somewhere. Where is the X- 
server called from?
Is that /etc/X11/xserver/sh, there are a lot of files in /etc/X11/ 
xserver or usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xserver?
