Closing BLFS Lists to non-subscribers

Hiding the addresses isn't the same as hiding the list archives entirely
though. I don't much like such sites that don't show the addresses at
all (it's nice to be able to contact the author of an archived message
sometimes), but obfuscating them in some human-readable form would be
fine.
