 As everybody else has said: yes, you should remain.  But do not
take comments personally - I think you are reading a lot more into
people's comments and responses to your commits and responses than
those people had intended.

 Questioning what other people are doing is part of the process of
gaining understanding.

Nanny Ogg usually went to bed early. After all, she was an old lady.
Sometimes she went to bed as early as 6 a.m.
