Red Hat 8:

K88syslog
K90network
K91isdn
K92iptables
K95firstboot
K95kudzu
K96pcmcia
S00killall
S01reboot

Killall is started in Red Hat's rc0 & rc6 as S00killall
They don't really have a sendsignals so to speak.

But in S01reboot they have -

runcmd $"Sending all processes the TERM signal..." /sbin/killall5 -15
sleep 5
runcmd $"Sending all processes the KILL signal..."  /sbin/killall5 -9

# Write to wtmp file before unmounting /var
/sbin/halt -w
